What parts should I add to get to my goal?

I have a 400hp/11-12sec goal and I dont know if it is capable with my current setup . What would you recommend changing to get closer? I can't afford any dyno time at the moment, And i would like to be able to get at least close to my goal before i go. Any input is appreciated, Just an opinion. Thank you.

All i can say is that many many people are running 12's with 16g's and those similar mods. Seems like you have all the basics coverd, now it comes down to tuning and the driving. 11's has been done on 16g's but im going to play it safe and say mid 13's to high 12's. I ran almost the same setup for a year or so and my best time at the track was 13.0. ( 16g, fmic, safc, 650cc, 3'' exhaust, gm mass, fpr, 3'' intake )

What would be the next mod if it was you? I was thinking of going with cams, But i dont want to sacrifice the fun i have with it as a daily driver. I also think about going with a gm maf and translator from time to time, But i think Ecmlink and an eprom would be a better way to go. Maybe at this point
I should get a couple of hours on the dyno and have a professional tune it and see where i land. I may be happy with what i get. Thanks for the response man.

272 cams. Without a doubt. If you upgrade to dsmlink and a nice set of cams you should have a great car for both the street and the strip. The 16g was one of my favorite turbos once i got passed there yea the bigger turbos are alot of fun, but they loose their street manors with the slow spooling. The 16g seems to have the power when you want it. Like i said before its going to be all into the tuning at this point. Your looking at another 1000 bucks for a good set of cams and the full dsmlink ( 585 dsmlink, 400+ cams ) but itll be a night and day difference with what potential both will give your car. You could even go with dsmlink light, ive been hearing great things about that, and itll save you some money.

I live 30 min away from danbury, i heard the best place to get tuned is "the shop". people say JR is a great guy and knows his dsms.

Danbury? I know where Stormville is i used to live in Beacon an Carmel when i was a youngster. Do you have get together's with other DSMers?

I would look into e85 or meth injection after a good ems. Both will give way more gains than cams on a 16g.

I would agree with the cams and ECMLink suggestions. Link will probably be the one "make-or-break" modification you can make to your car that will give you tremendous gains and adaptability. With Link, you should be able to keep your car daily driveable regardless of your cams. For example, I have FP2x cams which are pretty lopey, but with Link, I can keep idle up enough to drive it every day with no problem.

I'd try and get at least a 3" catback on there or a cutout.

Don't make the mistake like a lot of us do. Just save up and buy the ECMlink instead of AFC. Look towards E85 if it's available in your area.

Thanks fellas, I looked into e85, Closest place to me is in mass. Which is a bit of a trek, Like 6+ hours. So until it becomes more wide spread i think i will go with link + cams. I will need an eprom, Laptop, And link. I am looking at a grand. But it is worth it. In the mean time i may as well just get it to the shop and have it tuned for now. Maximize my current set up and when i get bored i will go from there.

You are running 100-octane right? Well if you really want to hit the high 11's and dont mind the engine taking a dump after a couple passes, after you get link and tune it, load it up with a hit of 75 cheater gas! Some people say it will burn a hole in your pistons, others say it cools the air and makes power without burning a hole. id be worried about using it though
