Ok, to start off I have a 90 awd talon, I just rebuilt the motor back to stock. All internals are new but stock minus the rods.

I have
ported head
ported exhaust mani
ported 02 housing
ported evo III 16g
in the process of port matching the intake mani
3g revised lifters
arp main and head studs
maft and 3.0 gm maf
pocket logger
mbc
Fmic and harden pipe
greddy type s
eprom ecu
catch can
afpr
balance shaft removed
drop engineering motor mounts
I haven bought injectors yet either 550's or 650's
I'll be running on pump gas 93

That's basically all the upgrades I'm doing. My question is what else do I need to run 15-20 psi. I've been reading I know I'll need to look into a widenband o2. Do I need a Safc or will the MAFT be enough with the logger and wideband?
I'm not looking for huge horsepower other wise I'd of built the block with forged internals I just want decent boost when I want to WOT. Any help would be greatly appreciated an welcomed.

I would go with the 650s and you'll need a walbro 190, but since you have an AFPR already you might as well go with a 255. You'll need at least an SAFC, but you would probably ultimately end up unlocking more power using DSMlink. You'll already be at the SAFC's limits with the 650s.

I don't have a power goal cause the cars just a fun toy to drive. I'm not looking for a monster awd 1g. Heck I'd be happy with 200 to 300 hp on my car. I'm just looking for something to have fun in while I'm building the neon to be a sleeper. An wkmitsu thank you for your answer, I'm sure I'll go with a 255 an 650's in the end. As for the dsmlink I know it's about the best we can get to help tune our car but 4xx is just a little more than I wanna spend on it. Altho in the end I know I'm probably going to brake down an buy it. I was just looking for something to tune with now and not have a wad of cash going out of my pocket in one product.

So it's never going to see a track and you don't care how much power it makes.
Leave it stock, it'll run forever and treat you well.

If it came to me stock I would of, but the motor an trans were already out of the car an I decided to freshen everything up. I'll probably take it to the track once to see what it runs then again after I build the spare 6 bolt laying on my basement floor.

i made over 300 hp stock internals with my 16g boosting 18lbs. dsmlink def recommended, wideband is always good to when tuning your car. 680s and walbro 255 definitely.

You broke down? ECMLink is one of the best tuning and logging devices on the market for us.

I don't mean it as in it's bad that I settled for link. I mean it as in I know with the money I'll spend on the safc, wideband, maft that I was buying an gm maf. I can buy the link and start from there with the better of the items. That way when upgrading from now on I can run and tune part by part.

Don't take the wideband of your list, just because you're getting link doesn't mean you don't need it. Also since you got link I suggest getting something bigger than the 650s just in case you want to go bigger because you enjoy this car more than the neon.:sneaky:

Oh defiantly not forgetting the wideband. I'm now thinking 680's or 720's for now since I'm not going e85 any time soon.

720s sound good or maybe 880s. With either you'll be able to reach 20 psi on pump gas. With bigger injectors you'll be putting less stress on them and running lower IDC which is better. And with DSMlink you can tune most injectors easily up to 1450cc I believe.

I did get the lite but I still have about a month before the old girls running again. So I'll probably upgrade to the full for 125 an pick up the cable before the ecu is in the car. I don't think I'm ever gonna run more than a 20g on this engine so hoping 750's are enough. If not I'll upgrade to 880s an 6an fuel lines.
