All that stuff and you still won't be able to get over stock boost levels or less. What about Injectors? Tuning Device? Logger?

Also you will need an Install kit for the 16g to properly bolt it up to your 2g.

I'm not sure what size injectors to run with an EVO III 16G. Tuning will be ECM Link v3 Lite.

I know about the install kit.

If you're using DSMLink to tune then just go to 1000cc injectors or bigger. As long as you have someone who's going to tune it or you're fairly good yourself then you can have it idling as stock, and incase you want to go bigger later down the road you won't have to waste time upgrading injectors again.

Edit: Oops.. sorry.. ECM Link.. old timer I suppose LOL :)

Yes, buy some injectors that are a few sizes bigger than what you need for your required goal. You can keep your duty cycles down this way, and leaves room for cranking up boost later if need be. The difference in cost isn't enough to justify going with only 550 or 650cc injectors. Shoot for 950cc or above. :thumb:

I don't want to go bigger than an EVO III 16G. I have another car in mind that I will most likely mod further. So will 650cc injectors be a good size to go with?

Depends on your goals really. You want to keep your duty cycles under 80% if possible. If you are seriously never going to want to change the setup to run more boost after you get it tuned to the 650's, then yes they will be enough.

I generally believe the rule, Find the Injector that will fit your HP goal while remaining under 80%, and then buy 1 or 2 sizes bigger.

Will 650cc support over 300whp? Sure. Will 850cc do it better with less strain on them? :thumb:

I know I definitely won't go bigger. If the 650's just cut it at 80%, then I'll go 1 size bigger.

Then go ahead and stick with the 650cc's. They will be fine for the 16g if your not ever going to want more out of it. There's other variables that come into play too...like quality of the tune, and quality of the fuel being run that will determine what your car can get out of it. Every car is different.

The only other thing on your list is your clutch...I'm not really sure what the stocker will hold up to...but most guys upgrade to an ACT 2100 or 2600 so it will hold up.
