what kind of turbo is the stock 98 eclipse turbo??

Im trying to figure out what kind of turbo the stock turbo is in my 98 eclipse gst? Anyone kno?

Bone stock is t25

It's a Garret T-25. If yours is going out I would upgrade to at least a 14b.

A direct bolt-on upgrade would be the FP BT-28.But yes the T-25 is the stock turbo on a 2g.

To the OP..What are your plans for the car? I would seriously take the time to search throught this entire forum as well as just using the Google. You will find out anything you want to know about our cars and then some. Be careful...These DSM's are addicting.

16g is td05. he said it was a td04 that was in the cl ad. just get a used 14b from a 1g for like 50-75 bucks bolt it on and enjoy or do some research and do a upgrade to a larger turbo and the supporting mods
