what kind of ecu does my 99 gst automatic start its a stock 7bolt

i think its starting to go bad so i am tying to find one on ebay and i tried googling and othing but is this good

What makes you think that your ECU is going bad? I mean what problems are you having with the car that makes you think it is the ECU?

giving me code when CEL is not on it says tps is bad and its misfiring

i replaced the tps and nothing happend and there is a funny smell from the exhaust so that is just my last solution

Have you checked to see if you CEL light works. Possible last owner unplugged it....Or light could have burned out.

95-96 ecu will not work with your car.


There was ecu reflash/recall on the 99 ecus for misreading a TPS CEL, it was implemented on a customer complaint basis. The dealer may still be doing it.

well when i unplug the Camshaft sensor it doesnt light up

so does anyone know the part # to the 99 ecu

or the wiring to the TPS is jacked up from a bad AFC install/uninstall.

and no its never had an safc installed this problem occured 1 week after i replace the IACV
