Resolved What is this? Where does it go?

Just got done rebuilding my 95 GSX 7 bolt and dropped it into the car last Sunday. I removed everything in order to paint the engine bay so I'm working to route all the wiring. The main thing I am having issues with is the "Mitsubishi Power TR Unit". It has the same connection as the MAF meaning they both clip into each other and the wiring harness puts it somewhere mounted on the firewall so I know which connection is for the MAF but I don't know where its located on the firewall. With wondering where it goes on the firewall I'm wondering more about it, what its for, if its needed, ect. Thanks in advance to anyone who can give any input!

PTU is used for the injectors. It allows the ECU to drive the low impedance injectors, I believe, and would be required if you aren't switching to high Z ones. It sits inside the intake manifold next to the coils.

Well, that was completely wrong and I knew it. It's the ignitors for the coils, which is why they are next to the coils. Required regardless.

Thanks! I hadn't seen anyone try to hydro dip theirs before so I figured i'd give it a try and see how it holds up

Definitely needed. Mounts on the stock intake manifold. Found this picture on google. You can see where it is.
