what is this on the firewall

I'm wondering what this part is beside the wiper motor and what is it's purpose? i'm lost

The relay is for the rear defogger like previously mentioned but also the little guy next too it with a single wire going to it is the noise condenser, it's purpose is to help eliminate noise in the electrical system of the car. There are a total of three of those in your car, two in the engine bay and the third by the rear seat.

As far as relocating it. You can just drop it behind the battery. I have my battery mounted low on the sub frame like yours and I still have the relay/condenser mounted low behind it. Here is a picture. I also have my intake/intercooler pipes wrapped as you can see.

Cleaning up the bay should start with removing that MT DEW can.

At the risk of this being deleted......

I said I LIKED the MT DEW can, and went on later to say I wanted to paint my entire car the color of the MT Dew can. Which also got deleted.

I think it's creative and different looking. If the rest of the items matched color wise it would be really cool and in context.

Aside from not holding as much fluid as a stock overflow it's a unique replacement.
