An MDP is the same as an MAP. Just the MDP reads pressure as well as vacuum. In essence it is the same thing. And no, it doesn't just ensure the EGR is working. When the key is turned on, it reads barometric pressure. And while the car is running it reads pressure/vacuum in the intake mani.Syndicate13 said:Wrong. It's the MDP or Manifold Differential Sensor.
