[RESOLVED] What is this on my intake manifold?

What is this actuator that was on my intake manifold and what should it be hooked up to?

It goes on the hole in the bottom center of the pic

It looked like someone had tried to block it off with something before but I don't think it held to well.

That is your egr valve.

Thats your egr valve, block it off, if you don't have emissions

You can make a plate and gasket or buy one off any number of vendors here.
