So if i block off the EGR by making a plate then what do i do with this sensor without getting a CEL ? So i just tape it off and its not used? Am i right in saying that, if i do egr block ,then i dont need this at all ?

You can block off the EGR without removing it. The block off plate goes nowhere near there why do you think you have to remove it. Now incase I am having a dumb moment and you did say that you where going to a 1g intake manifold then just T it on to the break booster line or leave it plugged in and hanging. Hope this helps good luck

Im trying to install a 1g intake manifold. Where is the brake booster line located? I wish i had some kind of diagram saying what hoses go where and wich ones i dont need.I read magnus and roadrace and still having truoble. So this pic right here is where the EGR was right? Dont i make a metal piece to cover right over it and seal it off and discard the EGR valve? Help. If i left the black piece in the first photo plugged in and hanging, there is a bottom side to that black piece that went inside the top of the 2g valve cover.I dont know why im not grasping this...

-Brake booster is the black round thingy that the brake master cylinder is bolted on.
-When you remove the EGR valve, there was a metal gasket on it, just cut a piece of metal to match the size of the gasket without the 2 round holes so the exhaust gas doesn't go up to the intake.

When i get the piece cut out, It will be just a solid one piece thats the shape of the gasket right? Should i use high temp silicone when i place the home made piece of aluminum on there,to keep air from going from the 2 holes on the pic above? Is this the brake booster line in pic?

"Soda Can" you mean? So i tee off of the line in the above pic? Or is that even the right hose?

-Typo: soup can, not soap can.
-I tried soda can before, but the exhaust gas eat throught it, so I use soup can instead.

This is my lame ass attempt to put things together on this 1g intake by using the way they were on the 2g intake. The throttle body is on the other side with the 1g and i dont know where any of these stupid lines go or which ones dont get used. What is this thing its connected to in the left of the pic? Also is that the brake booster line in the other pic?

Just a few more questions. According to the diagram i can remove completely, the evaporative emmision purge solenoid? AND the fuel pressure solenoid with a high flow fuel pump? And those are the 2 pieces in the left of the first picture ...right? Thanks Those diagrams are awesome! So then i just plug all the fittings off like this pic?Except a boost guage line running off the one labeled P?

Ahhh I see. So when you T it off and its connected to P just wrap it in electrical tape and have it out of the way since there is nowhere to mount it? Also i thought you use P for the boost guage...T it off there too ,to share it with the MDP?

Okay is this how it goes to keep from getting CEL? This is just thrown together to see if this is right..hows this? Its attatched to " P " . So can i just tape this up and tuck it away or does it have to sit a certain way? is this right? Also...Is that the vacume brake booster in the pic up there in the earlier post?

Okay from what im reading, You leave it plugged electrically but dont run a hose to it...The Same goes with the other 2 "egr solenoid and Evap purge solenoid" They are bypassed as far as running hoses through them. Is this right?
