what is the best turbo set up to go with

well i just got a 6bolt to swap into my 97 2g gst and im not sure what turbo to go with the motor has just been rebuilt with topline pistons bored .20 over and all bottom end internals have been cryo treated and it has a cometic head gasket and arp head studs .. i want it to be fast but not crazy fast where im going threw axles and transimssions every week i would like to get around 400 to 450 hp out of it can someone help me out on deciding what to go with i would like to get a holset hx35 o hx 40 but i need to know all of the little componets i need to make it work and i also need some advice onwaste gates and manifolds

BEP Bolt-on turbine housing (Dsm flanged) found at Timsturbos, $120
Punishment Racing 02 housing with v-band or some kind of waste gate flange
External wastegate that fits the v-band or flange.
Slowboy racing Hx-35/40 Oil return kit, 75$
Stainless Oil feed

Thats an easy 500hp for ya

Where are these $120 BEP bolt-on housings? I'd buy every one I could get my hands on for that price.

Last one I bought for a good buddy of mine came from Bullseye Power direct at a price of $279 shipped. They've steadily been on the rise since Tims last updated his website 6 years ago.

I never said found at Tims turbos FOR $120, I said look at Timsturbos, I bought mine coated for $120 lightly used, sorry if that confused anyone.

And yes timsturbos needs to be updated, unless they still are $170 from his site??

He's still showing the T3 .55 a/r housing which hasn't been available for 3+ years....so yes, it needs updated.

What the hell is so hard about tapping the pipe with a ball-peen hammer? My water pipe looks like It was meant to be indented after 5 mins of work.

Thats why the take the car to Y shop. Y shop recommends X part because they sell it and then they condescend to badger everyone else who tried something otherwise with fitment and oiling "issues".
