Thanks for the help!

I got a eBay pipe. Haven't put it on yet still trying to put my talon back togeather. And it's not easy

I bought a used injen intake since it was comparable in price to extreme psi's filter+maf adapter. I spent a reasonable amount of time cleaning it, and the result is nice. installation was incredibly easy. so far, I'm totally satisfied with their product, but then I paid $80 shipped with a spare MAF versus $160 or whatever they are going for new...

that said, hard intake pipes tend to be rather pricey, thus IMO there are better things you can do early on with your money than buy a hard intake pipe (boost gauge, wideband o2, alcohol/meth injection, etc.). if I didn't find a good deal on a used injen intake, I would have went the K&N filter + MAF adaptor. open filters like the K&N definitely help reduce restriction getting air in to the turbo, but remember that they do so at the expense of less filtration of the air entering your motor...

I got me a ebay intake for my car, cost me $50 shipped. Came with couplers, clamps, maaf adapter and filter.

The only thing i used was the pipe, i bought extremepsi couplers, vibrant maf adapter, and a k&n filter locally.

Total came out to $120, saved me $30-$40 from extremepsi's complete intake kit, then again if you wanted to opt for the k&n filter it'll cost more.

It's up to you. You can always did what i did, works great.

Do you think the couplers it comes with are that bad of quality?

The couplers suck, they are weak, and the coupler that connects the 4" side of the intake to the maf does not fit.

At least mine didn't and i strecthed the crap out of it, it was not going to fit, i was going to upgrade them regardless cause i wasn't going to have my intake anyways in my engine bay hanging down like a limb you know what... LOL

Could you send me which couplers to get =O

I just got a ebay intake and ordered a K&N

I think ill be ok with the couplers it comes with, im only gonna be boosting like 15

Intake couplers don't matter, you are just sealing for vacuum. It's on the pressure side of the turbo where you want quality couplers to handle the boost.
