What Intake Do You Suggest?

Going to buy one, what do you gys think I should go with. Links to the best deal if possible otherwise just the name works.

That looks nice but with recent drops in Apexi quality I would't give a second thought to not buying apexi. Might want to get an AEM if you want dryflow. With the recent drop in quality of the exhuast system from Apexi (mufflers blowing out, not true 3" etc) I dont trust them anymore.

You could also just put a filter on the nipple coming off of the valve cover, thus eliminating the need for the hose. Check out the picture dsmdeliveryboy posted.

Please don't do this, a hose was hooked from the valve cover to the intake for several reasons (which do not need to be gone over again here) from factory, keep it that way (install sealed catch can if you don't want oil in your intake).

Can the K&N FIPK possibly flow more? Sure it has more surface area. Will you notice a difference? Absolutely not. Guys make 500+whp on the 6" K&N, unless you have free money to blow, don't bother with the FIPK.

As for the "Ebay" intakes, yes they are cheap & you do get what you pay for. Sure, a pipe is basically a pipe (I don't believe their quality is as good as say Injen but the difference's shouldn't hurt performance, maybe just looks) but I wouldn't use the filter. You have no way of telling how well they filter & I've seen them come apart being sucked into the MAF (or turbo when not running a stock MAF). Plus, if you ever go bigger then 16g sized inlets, your looking for another intake. Just buy the FP intake once & be done with it.

I was always told not to vent the valve cover due to unmetered air or something. Not sure why I was told to always have a catch can and put it back into the intake.
