I have a choice to trade injectors. He will send his and me try them and if I dont like them I can send them back. The only thing wrong is there is a little dent of cosmetic damage. I currently have pte 1000cc that flows of 940cc. The ones im trying are deatschwerk 1600cc. I have dsmlink. What are you guys experience with them.

Anyone?

If I were to bucket these with other 1600cc injectors, they won't run too well down low (cruise/idle) if they hold true to the others. You'd be better off with a small injector like you currently have. You can read about this on the injector tester thread on the link forums.

So with that, bigger is not always better. Overall it is, but there are some issues with the larger injectors that you won't get with the smaller ones.

It's not necessarily the brand that's bad, but the design of the injectors (from what I know). I know nothing about the brand the OP is questioning about, so I can't vouch for that specific set. But I do know, for example, the FIC 1600's did not test well and had the idle/cruise issues.

I see he's running a small 16g currently, so he shouldn't be near the 85% IDC's on his current injectors. If the OP does decide to go to a bigger turbo, he'll want to see how much air he plans on flowing and look at this thread to figure out what size will be necessary.

Thanks for the reply. Snowborder helps me out all the time. I know I'll want to go bigger like a 50 trim or Garret 35. All I know is it's free to me and I can try before I send mine. What would you do?

Has anyone used those injectors?

depends what modifications you have on your dsm as of now, when are you planning on getting a larger turbo? by brand i would go with deatschwerks i have their fuel pump and it works great as for inj. i use fic 1450's

I just figured I would give you a update.I did try them and it was all fine. My idle was fine at 850rpm. But I kept my 940s. My wideband was all over the map. I tried dialing them in but high inpendice injectors are hard.
