I am planning on buying some bigger injectors soon, and want to know which brand is a better choice, or are they about the same for quality and reliability. I'm planning to get some in the 650cc range.

so does everyone agree that they are both good injectors and that you may just need to run higher FP on pte's? I was planning on running 1000cc's anyone know what kind of fuel pressure to run?

agreed, and FP should be about 45 psi -+ youll just have to play with your FPR to get it right tho because it will depend on your tune and hopups

no no no. no more afc. I built a 6 bolt that will be going in soon and I'll be using the new version of dsmlink. i'm looking to crack 500hp and then go bigger on the turbo set up. thats if everything goes well. haha. I'm a tech and do a lot of engine work. I'm also crazy anal about my work so hopefully everything goes smoothly. everything is pretty much brand new because i started with a bare block

oh ok that will work great, what turbo u run

right now I have a t3/t4 60 trim. I have a stock internal 7 bolt right now and I went 12.8 at 109mph on it so im pretty happy with it. I plan on maxing it out when all the kinks are worked out, motor is broken in and I can get it on the dyno

hell yeah, how much boost just wondering, im gonna run 30 psi for now i want some low 10's or high 9's

That was like 21 or 22. I only got one pass that day because it was so crowded but i was happy with that. Right before that I had a non ball bearing 50 trim that I blew up and I could never get under a 13.2 with that thing. haha when that blew up I had the biggest cloud of smoke behind me.

Stay on topic.

No, I don't agree, because of the difference you just stated. Having to run higher fuel pressure lowers your fuel pump flow. E.G. Those that are running a walbro 190 fuel pump and want 650s with their safc to make about 400whp should get FIC injectors since 650s are about maxed out at 400whp. The PTE injectors need a higher fuel pressure to flow 650cc. This will cause the 190 walbro pump will be at a higher pressure that will lower it's flow below what is required for 400whp. Now he needs a fuel pump. And an AFPR if he bought the walbro 190 to have a 400whp pump but not overrun the stock FPR.

Otherwise, the FIC 650s would have been fine.

If you want 1000's get FIC new 1050's (or their 1150's). These are custom flow matched & have a better spray pattern. They claim most other 1000's on the market don't flow that much (more like 930-940). Where as the 1050 usually flow like 1070-1080, etc
