Ok so im almost done putting together my 1g but theres a few things im not sure of. Where do the lines go on a 16g turbo? I know the where the bottom one goes but the other 2 have me lost. Also theres a pressure fitting on the head right near the thermostat housing but dont know what connects to it or the hose right under the thermostat housing. Keep in mind this is my first dsm so im kind of in the dark with it. Any help?
 
I think your talking about the bolt in the head. Is it plugged? Its a port used for the oil feed to the turbo. Since your a 1g, I think stock is fed from the ofh so it would need to be plugged. Can you post a pic of the lines your talking about? There is 2 water lines and 2 oil lines. Theres a oil feed and oil return. The feed would go from the ofh to the turbo. Then the oil drain would go from the bottom of the turbo to the oil pan. The water lines are different in the 1g. There is a water line that goes from your turbo to the water pipe running along the block. And the other water line goes to your thermostat.

1g's oil feed is from the head not the OFH..

Op it looks like you need to get the oil to your turbo from the head.
And the other line is for water.
 
Thanks guys i have the oil lines figured out now. As for the coolant lines are there 2 or only one? On the turbo there are two more fittings but one is plugged. I read that i didnt have to use the coolant lines...any truth behind that?
