Ok I've almost got it ready to start, just a few final questions -

1. Does 1a in pic 1 connect to 1b in picture 2? The hose coming up to the T is from the boost guage. If it doesn't, what connects to each of them? I don't see how my friend had these lines running as the T vac hose is pretty short and wouldnt even be close to reaching. Also the hoses are different sizes. If not connecting, where should each run?

2. Do any vac's connect to 2, 3, or 4 in picture 1? ALL of my emissions stuff has been eliminated. I'm pretty sure that at least a hose or two was running off of one or more of those but since my friend took it apart so I'm not sure.

3. Does anything connect to 5 in picture 2?

4. Is picture 6 where one of the T lines for the boost guage connects to?

Thanks tuners....after 6 months she's almost ready to be started ....

i think the hose from the blowoff valve should go to the intake manifold and the hose from the valve cover connects to one of the bungs on the intake hose (after the blow off valve recirculation tube) which appears to be 3 or 4 on picture one. thats how it is on my 7 bolt, they may be different tho. can you take a picture of more of your engine so i can see more bungs and where the hoses go to?

If emissions are eliminated you are not going to be able to reconnect all the lines. Do you have EGR or charcoal canister? Take a look at these pics. Maybe they will help. Also check out the link that shows which vaccum lines you DONT need. Maybe it will change your mind and you will just leave them all eliminated. :D

1A - Run hose over to big nipple on front of intake manifold.

2 - Old BCS, shouldnt even be there.

3 - There is suppose to be a nipple on the passenger side of your valve cover where there is a hole with a nose going from it to the intake but you can just cap it if you want.

4 - you need to cap that one all its doing is leaking boost. its part of the old BCS setup.

1B - small nipple on front of intake mani.

5 - There is supposed to be a vaccum solenoid there where all your vaccum lines start. U can go to the junkyard and get one or just leave it.

6 - Everything looks fine there.

So cap 3, cap 4, cap off the two BCS nipples, and leave 5 alone just hanging there? Correct?

Also 1a can't run to anywhere on the intake, as you can see it's all capped. For 1b all the lines on the intake are capped as you can see unless I'm missin gone?

To answer a few questions, there used to be lines in all these places as far as I can remember (but I can't really so who knows). These pics show what was cap'd and what still is, and some open lines more clearly. Hope they help. I know to cap both lines on the BCS, but when you're running the MBC it goes to wastegate, BOV, and does the 3rd part of the T run into the boost gauge? When you T off the boost gauge where does the 3rd line run? I think the BCS was just left open but I'll cap those. The two real questions -

1. In pic gaugeT is the 1 side of the T connected to the right spot? If so great, where do you guys have the second line running?

2. Where does the T off the MBC run? Wastegate, BOV, and the third line runs to...._____ ?

In the last pic I found on taboo, is it saying that B and B connect? It says one line from the gauge is B and the line from the MBC T is also B? Meaning B is the same as B as in they connect? That would answer 1 and 2 questions above but if that's it why does my friend have totally different size hoses from the gauge and the MBC? I'm guessing I could use one of the metal bracket lines to connect them tho, but I'd need different size hose so that makes no sense at all.....

Thanks again guys

This is what I suggest you do. Remove the battery and take out the charcoal canister. that will eliminate most of your problems. You dont even need all that shit. Yes 3 and 4 are caped. Completely unplug and remove the BCS. You dont need it. There should only be two lines running off the MBC. I dont know where you come up with 3. One goes to the wastegate and the other goes between the line runing from the BOV and intake mani. There are 3 nipples on teh front of the intake mani. From left to right they go. PCV valve. BOV. And the line you have circuled as 1B. I say you connect all that and get rid of everything else. Thats how mine is run. Yes #5 is an electrical connecter. As I said, thats a vaccum solenoid where all your vac lines start. But since you are caping all this other shit you dont even need it.

Make sense?

Charcoal canister is gone already. In the taboo diagrams it looks like the same line connects the MBC T and the gauge T. I don't see where these lines are running into the intake mani as you said above but you can see the capped lines on the intake...check this pics of the intake mani - where are you thinking the T's should run?

on the intake the nipples are? I don't see a single one except for the PCV valve that is...what part of the intake should these be on? Upper, lower?

The nipples on the intake manifold are below the wires for the injectors CAS TPS. Take out the three 10mm bolts and lift that up a little and you will see it.

Looks like someone had fun tearing all that shit out of there leaving a mess and headache.

stuff he just tore out when I first got the car, he's like you dont need that or that or that and I didn't know about DSM's and he had done a 4G63 swap into a mirage shell so I trusted him....doh - I'll check that out tonight, thanks
