the fuel rail is an OEM 1g shaved rail. i did a 2g rail as well, but gave it to my tuner to put on his car.

i got about 800 miles in on the break in so far, i really cant wait to turn the boost up and get a tune in!

locks work fine, its the plastic piece that is just old and brittle, probably from the heat.

At this point hot weather would be a nice problem to have, in this area things become brittle from sub zero temperatures.

best advice, dont have a spending budget. drop everything you got in it. neglect other things until its done trust me its the only way

Nice build man really like the red/black combo. Did you do the footwell lights? I bought some white LED bulbs on ebay from china and it took 2 months for them to arrive but what you want they were $2 shipped for 10. I could send you 2 if you want. What bulb did you use for the gauge lights?

yea i got all of my lights from superbrightleds.com

everything is hooked up, except my ingition light, the connector is bad... its a pain to get to just that one light, you have to take the steering wheel off!

the driver side door switch isnt working, but the floor lights will turn on from the passenger side.

oh and i need to get the glove box light replaced i forget about that one (like it matters )

i used a good ol wire brush and simple green. took 2 monsters and about 4 hours to clean it off, then hit it with rubberized coating.

Yep that's the plan. I saw earlier that you're navy aviation, I'm joining the army doing aviation. I know what I'm doing with my enlistment bonus . Looking forward to them updated engine pics too .

you know, i havent spent too much time under the hood other than checking on my fluid levels... which if you as me is a good thing! its a little dusty, but shes running good.

got her tuned up on my 850cc injectors, rev limiter is set to 78k... this car runs really good!

hey all, quick little update on the trash compactor:

She’s basically done! I have almost 30k miles on the engine, and have had TONS of ups and downs boy let me tell you . Life has been good. I have an LSD transmission installed, my E3 16G is basically maxed out. The car is fast. It’s so much fun to drive. I get tons of looks. Tons of stories about how so and so’s older brother used to have one. It’s literally everyone’s favorite car.

Basically the very last thing is hooking up power to the stereo at this point. So funny almost 10 years and no stereo. It’s all installed, just need to apply power. I’ll attach a couple pics of it. I basically dedicated my Instagram to the car and kind of stopped using this site, but I feel like getting back on here more again.

Anyways, yes the car is alive still and not crashed and I’m never selling it!!
