What do you need with a turbo engine?

I have a few noobish questions for anyone willing to answer them. First of all I just bought a 94 Eclipse with a blown engine. My first question is this, how much more expensive is the turbo engine to run than non turbo? I have enough for the engine but do you have to buy like an intercooler kit, exhaust, headers and all that?

My second question is, Does this selling company look legit? this is where i will be buying my engine from if we cant find one in a local junk yard or other place like that.

see thats the problem I dont have it yet. i found it in the auto & rv mag. I came on here to see if it is worth buying with a blown engine. It is a 1994 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS 5 speed w/ power windows and locks, if that helps any.

So what you are saying you have no idea what is under the hood. The GS model came with anything from the 1.8 all the way to the 2.0 turbo If it's a 1.8 unless they are giving it to you PASS.

If its a 4g37 (the 1.8l) then it wouldn't be worth it really..

I thought all 92.5 - 94s that were non-turbo came with the 4g37? Please correct me if I'm wrong.

No they had all 3 4G37 base 4g63 N/T upgrade and then the 4G63T not sure about the 37 but the 2 63s were 7bolt.

If it is indeed, a GS, then you are looking at getting the 4g63 non turbo.
