Finally beat the 2 cylinders with out spark on the 6 bolt swap in the gsx. Immediately followed by the timing belt developing a stripe. So now after all the normal rebuild/replace work. Plus all the extra crazy random work. It starts and within 2 minutes of idling developed a wear mark.....

My luck astonishes me on a daily basis....

Also started the epic cleaning of the Talon so I can limp it down to the DSM meet Saturday.
 
nothing out of the norm...just drove it to school, had a good wank to it and now just staring at it through my bedroom window until i fall asleep, wake up and repeat
 
Seeing as I haven't driven/payed attention to the thing in a month after buying my V10 Superduty. Decided to finally wash, claybar, and detail the thing. Jacked the car up, took the wheels off and adjusted my coilovers (lowered another .5" and adjusted the dampers) Then went for some good old fashioned hooning, strafing big rigs on the freeways all that fun stuff :D finished my day with purchasing a new car cover for my DSM because it'll probably be another month before I take it out for a spin again :p
 
Prepped for an engine pull/rebuild. More unhooking, labeling and removing 20 year old bolts with 20 years of corrosion... God I love WD-40
 
today i ordered a bunch of stuff from modern automotive performance. I love these guys. this time around it was my jm fab fuel cell, aeromotive a1000 fuel pump, aem fpr and a set of fuel lab inline filters.

fuel system is the next piece to get put in

I didn't smash the living siht out of it like it deserved.....

I have honestly had it....

Every brick wall, every obstacle I have smacked into and overcome...

She's ready to roll out off the garage...NOW THE DAMN CLUTCH WON'T DISENGAGE....

Who wants to see an eclipse burn to the ground?????

Today I got 2 more BF Goodrich G-Force T/A KDW tires so now I have a full matching set front and rear. Plus over the past couple of day I tore my transmission apart to install a Quaife LSD; I'm just waiting on 2 custom differential bearing from ShepTrans to finish it up. I also installed an E-85 compatible -6 AN Fuel Lab fuel filter with a reusable 40 micron stainless steal element.

For some reason my pictures don't seem to be uploading though.
 
Washed the GS and cleaned up the headlights again.

Opened the GST rubbed her down with an Armorall wipe. Also put in the cargo net I picked up from here and wished I had the money to put new tires on her likes she deserves :(

During my lunch break in the shop i lefted the talon and put in new lower ball joints. oh the fun rushing to do it in 45 minutes LOL. :rocks:
 
WAiting for my Gates Radiator Hoses to arrive via Amazon!
Also waiting for my Air Bypass Valve to arrive from Ebay!
I checked the bolts all around the engine bay and and now looking for some sort of bolt kit or specifications on all the bolts to replace them with new ones, hopefully anodized blue.
Drove to the shop to get on a lfit and check oil buildup around the oil pan.
Considering going to the junkyard and pulling a Throttle body and valve cover off a junked 99...
Considering doing an Exahust Wrap of my ebay manifold and downpipe...
Currently searching my ass off for Plastidip... so I can plastidip my entire car tonight..... but I live on oahu and I cant find any ####ing PLASTIDIP

Wet sanding, and began buffing my lights after wet sanding them and polishing them with my buffer. Figuring out my budget and parts i want to get.
 
Well while taking the gf to work. I put some gas in the car. Went to take off, bout 5 seconds later A huge CLOUD of smoke just pours from the hood, *kind of like when brian fried his piston rings in F&F 1* :). I felt like a bada**. Anyways, pop the hood and coolant hose came off the radiator. Stupid clamp wasn't clamping well. Had to walk around a town of like 400 people to find a good clamp and get home.
 
all the bolts to replace them with new ones, hopefully anodized blue.

blue means anodizing which can only be done to aluminum. be carefull with this as you could be asking for a world of hurt.
 
My car was shorting out and the power was cutting off and turning back on mid-drive, so I found some bad power cables to my fuse box, and replaced them.

Well done Jax!! Looks good. I finished up everything under the car (grinded down welds, sealant, and under coated) and wired my AWD stuff for my fuel pump and installed the AWD fuel tank tonight.. Tomorrow the rear subrame and driveshaft go back in.. Possibly starting on puttin the motor back in!
