Looked at it, as it sat on its DSM pedastals( jackstands).

Installed my Dejon tool intake tube, and baught a fp race manifold to go with my big 16g.

Decided tonight to drive the 90 talon into work (27 miles) it was the 3rd time on the road. Only to have the brake pedal suddenly slam into the firewall while getting off the interstate. Made rest way to work. Found cause, left rear hard line blown out. Hard line for right side is now seeping in two places as well. Looks like I know of one more thing to add to repair / replace list. May be crimping it off if the line is not to crusty and then try to limp it home in the morning.

Rear brake pads, new front pads still in the box. Next is transmission, transfer case and rear-end flush, and new cv shaft up front. Transfer case is leaking, along with the oil-return line. I can't get my front agx's to adjust, stuck on 1. :notgood:

I went to work on my 94 talon and got a text from my friend. So I went and bought another awd 1gb talon shell with 48,608 miles on it. She's been sitting next to a barn for the past 9 years. Thinking of swapping everything over as its an extremely clean shell after I gave her a bath today.

Got for free
95 awd tranny and t.c.
Bought
95 talon tsi auto fwd for the eprom,a/c,power steering, rear bumper, skirts, and tails

Buying on wed

All to put my 98 awd spyder back together after sitting for 10 years

Started my car up yesterday. First time its ran since 2002ish. Idled good, but just a little belt squeal and my stock oil pressure gauge doesnt work. So had to shut er down early and hopefully getting a new sending unit tomorrow.

OMG that's awesome:hellyeah:

God knows my shakercup leaks after like 2 weeks, might as well put one of them to good use LOL.

As for me, I ordered up some tein flex coilovers, and a maft gen2 setup minus a gm maf, I guarantee I can find one at a junkyard much cheaper :thumb:

So on Saturday I decided it was time to completely strip the interior of my gst spyder. I want of to be as light as possible. All seats, panels, stereo components and whatever else I could find. I realized that there is a lot more I can take out but don't want to risk removing something that is critical to the car driving properly. Any ideas on how to take out the convertible top motor, rear seat belts, power antennae and passenger side airbag without causing any unexpected errors?

I personally wouldn't strip my car unless it was a straight up tow to the strip/track to race. I just don't see the point, it's not going to affect dd quickness very much, idk just my opinion. I would help you out on removing but I've yet to tear into a vert.

And I like to listen to my stereo while I drive. :rocks:

hmm, i didnt do anything to my dsm today, because ive been crying about losing it for almost a year now! but its ok ill be getting another soon!! i hope though i have no cash!!! so ill be rocking the starquest until i can save money for another dsm!
