Hopefully put the last coat of primer on my engine bay. :applause:

Well in the last week ive completely detailed the car. New exhaust flange gasket oil and coolant flush, finally got a aftermarket oil pressure and water temp gauge and wired them in.. Finalized some ducting.. Rotated tires, new plugs new throttle body gaskets and intake mani gasket(yet to be put in LOL..) New injector o-rings,

Now the good part, I start car after installing the new gauges.. For some reason the thing did great until 50 yards up the road then i seen i had no oil pressure..Limped her in reverse back to the house(dangerous i know but it was 4 in the morning). Got out to see the tube for oil pressure gauge was gone and there was one huge line of oil from the start of the drive way down the road and another on the way back.. Well thank god i noticed it and didnt keep driving.. I fixed the oil pressure tubing refilled the oil and took her for a drive..
Then now im tuning again and cars running amazing, I go to get on the freeway and punch it in third hit fourth and bang a loud ass boom and look out the rear as i push the clutch and see a huge cloud of smoke..
Im thinking i just blew the motor but i let the clutch out slowely and RPM"S came back up but wideband was at 10 and car was sputtering.. Coupler blew off and in the worst spot.. Behind the rad..

Pulled into a parking lot and proceeded to remove the radiator and intake pipe so i could put the coupler back on haha i got some weird looks from people.. I was so happy i always carry my stash of tools with me LOL..

Sorry this is so long LOL just thought id share my experiences with my dsm in the last week..

Installed some parts I found at the local pull-a-part. Got one of the Manual mirror inside trim pieces they no longer make that wasn't broken

I was freakin happy. Found a good mitsu logo for the bumper and glued it on, changed out the strips that go above the windows that were in way better shape than mine, changed out the inner wheel well piece that attaches to the front bumper (mine were ripped), changed out my broken turn signal/lights switch, found some fog light bezels and the other inserts that go on the sides of the bumper, and got a new side view mirror. Pretty great find for spending only $20 on all of it.

Took the TB pipe from my vrsf kit to work and cut it apart and rewelded it so it would line up right and shortened and rebeaded it so I can put in my gm mas.

Worked more on my car. This fmic install and weight loss has been a major PITA, but it's almost done. I want to get back to the track before it closed for winter.

moved the new parts from map to the garage to get ready for the install of the cooling and the fuel system. so I can start making the manifold and exhaust

Fixed some minor boost leaks, tied down my battery (now I can run at the track finally LOL), installed oil temp sensor, cleaned the engine bay a bit, powder coated some misc stuff, and fine tuned my car.

I wish I could say that. Lucky guy.

I'm from Indiana an there's corn everywhere but no E85. I think the cows eat it all! I think the closest gas station that has it is over 40 miles away. Its in amish country. I guess they figure the buggies run on corn so might as well get everybody used to running corn. ROFL

I wish we had E85 here but apparently it doesn't work well in the cold.

I just finished pulling my engine wiring harness, damn was that easy! Tomorrow the fenders are coming off, dash out (again) and the front chassis harness is coming out :D Wire tuck here I come!

I also put my dyed black trunk panels in, looks great with my alumium trunk floor.

Got my car running and readjusted my injector deadtime. Car is making so much more power with the front mount, my clutch was slipping on a hard 1-2 shift. Was holding 5500 rpm launches just fine before the install. LOL

Shes goin stock, i went from a nice wire tucked bay to the stock looking bay i just was fed up tryin to look good well after puttin the harness the way it came stock it looks better than the shitty wire tuck, and i put on a oem blockoff from a 1.8.

also took out the ghetto skate bearing mod and put in the oem rubber bs and it shifts so much better.

i think im goin for restore over weight reduction i took so much out and im puttin it back in, power steering and AC etc.

I plastidiped my hood. Stickerbombed my Front bumper. Clearcoated the front bumper. Stared at it for about 20 mins ate lunch and stared at it somemore.

Looking at buying another 2G this one I found is literally a keeper. Can't wait I'll post pics soon once I finalize my paperwork from the settlement my gf & I are bout to receive.

Well I started the water pump install last night and finishing up today. Pulled all the ac stuff out of the car since it wasnt working anyway. Pulled the cruise out since that wasnt working either. Cleaned out the trunk and removed a ton of crap back there as well. Hopefully the water pump will fix the overheating issue. If not then onto the thermostat. Oil change will be done today as soon as the water pump is all back in too. Then I may start to sand the car down to give a quick spray and clear to make her look a little better.
