I drove it! She's been in the garage for the last six months getting prettied up. Yesterday I took her out, gave her a quick bath, and now she is sitting pretty in my driveway

changed oil/filter and checked all fluids fixed some vacuum lines....15 minute gentle ride leads to random overheat.....Oh joy....

Got the hood keyed (Which is fading, so i don't know if I will do anything about it yet) and pulled up my shfit boot to discover why the shifter is sloppy... Time for some bushings there.

I just got 560cc evo and FIC 650cc injectors as a little package from a teacher at my school. $100.

So I just put in the 650cc. I gotta tune it out a little with afc. I was just rolling around (normal driving), and got the a/f normal. I didn't go into boost yet. Probably going to do some pulls tomorrow after school.

I put in new door handles yesterday not painted just let them be mat black. It actually looks pretty good on the car.

The black door handles (and also mirrors) are the way to identify an RS model.
They weren't painted from the factory to save a little cash on the low models by not having to match codes for the numerous paint colors available.

This method actually was applied and an employee given a monstrous award by GM for I believe it was a piece for the late 80's early 90's style Cavalier. I want to say it was the ashtray or something that was essentially hidden by the dash. However was color coded to the car. This suggestion made by an employee from the line saved the company like .50 cents a car and millions as a whole.

Dropped motor back in FINALLY.. Got a bunch of stuff bolted down and connected most electric shit.. Tomorrow going to put axles in and finish her up and take her for the first drive in over a month im so excited

I've been replacing mine for five years now.

installed the new fp intake, changed wiper switch, new battery, changed pass lock to the original(new door), new door handle, and a couple other things and got insurance for it so i can drive it to work later today

I bought my mud flaps today it was one hell of a trip down to SJ for it. Being in traffic with an ACT2600 does not help, clutch foot is killing me but totally worth it. I also received my Mishimoto rad on wednesday this past week I'm going to install it tomorrow or sunday. Mud flaps Tuesday for sure. I'll put pics up as soon as I can I can't wait to see how she is going to turn out I'm so excited!

Edit: question has anyone had to us a dremol on the primary fan to accommodate the J-Pipe?

I'm also doing FMIC install and A/C delete on monday. But today, I went to pick n pull and got a new driver side door, rear hatch shocks( THEY WORK!), dipstick, and a 1ga 5 piece wing for my 1gb.

Wash the hell out of it... then I fw1 wax the whole car. Stole some ss polish from work and polish the hks exhaust...Clean headlights and now it's looking freaking awesome. To bad I don't have pix.
