I had patience with my DSM.
Pulled tranny+xfer case
pulled steering column
working on getting pedal assy out and repaired
buying more parts...never ending...
I love it though!

I think im going to try to UN warp my intercooler. I think if I put it under the tire while the car is jacked up, then slowly lower the car onto it, it might un bend the core? Lol. Like it would press it flat against the concrete using the weight of the car on the tire?

Anyone have a better thought on it haha

Find a vice of some sort, 4 c-clamps, 4 pieces of plywood, leftover hardwood strips from a kitchen remodel, clamp everything in a vice, and gently "hand straighten" until satisfied. Car will crush that thing.

Mount it to something solid, heat it up and somehow pull with a ratchet strap on the side that needs straighten.

Edit. Scratch that. That’s might tear it.

I went on a mission to fix my fuel gauge. This is what I found on the ground wire for the sending unit (Under the drivers seat). After cutting out the corroded wire and soldering on a new eye my fuel gauge rose to just over a quarter tank. Going to get some gas and see if it goes to full.

Replaced a hatch strut, pulled out the carpet covering the spare tire and vacuumed it, installed the spare jack and tool kit in it's stowage spot, removed poor fuel pump re-wire work/fire hazard, reassembled plastic interior parts.

Also purchased a flux core machine to start building my own stuff , i started one fender exit exhaust on a friends car , pipes are just pointed to make the form then will weld all together , im not a welder so is not impressive but im learning and think is a good starting point.

I drove the 3 speed auto Blue Talon to town so I keep her fuel moving and flowing just to grab a double steak grilled cheese burrito!
I know OD is BROKEN OFF at the shaft but I can't stand this Honda boy running around thinking he is king of the street. Unfortunately (maybe fortunately for the trans, but she shifted fine 1 thru 3) I didn't catch him out but buzzed his apartment :D:nono::shhh:
I shouldn't drive her but I cant resist boost fever!

I spent some money on a new clutch lever arm from RTMRacing, Walbro 255HP and install kit, and some maintenance stuff to go along with the mods. Just a few more $thousand to go till it's back on the road.

Spend more time making this fender exit , its almost ready to weld complete , just some tweaks here and there and i need incorporate wg dump to it and is ready

Went to replace leaky valve cover gasket, noticed cylinder head is extremely clean. Head must have been replaced in the last few years. Might explain why it has a gates racing belt that appears to be a couple years old. Probably did both at the same time

Ordered a set of fog light bezels from a seller in puerto rico on ebay. There is another seller in PA that took 8 days to process my order, and never shipped. This vender in puertorico had next day shipping and the part already made. Fitment is extremely tight and neat

Almost got the clutch pedal out. It's "removed" but not free-and-clear from the car. Brake booster needs to be completely removed.

I looked at the FPR kit and Walbro 255 I need to install, bought a carbon fiber hood, then left for college :banghead:
Back to being a weekend mechanic for me :(
(running lean when in boost so I need a tune up and some more fuel)
After college you'll have more time and $$ to wrench on the DSM.

Doing more progress on side exhaust
