What did you do to your DSM today?

Installed an oem Hyundai bar and plate auto trans cooler. Its a really nice cooler and should help keep temps down. Got it for $5+tax at a local yard. I flushed it multiple times from both directions with it turned in many directions.kept flushing till it came out clean and then flushed it 1 more time.

Did a boost leak test. Only dropped 10psi after 40 seconds, but I have a couple small easy to fix leaks at intake gaskets.

Seriously started looking into making AB style hood from pictures on my 3d printer.

Washed it. I also scrubbed the glass crystal clear after these pictures but man does this thing clean up nicer than I thought it would! No wax, it's not still wet, just a simple wash and dry. Also I cannot tell you how great it is to get in this thing, start it up, and know its 100% good. No worries about overheating, knocking, blowing a motor, or etc. It's clean, reliable, slow, but fun as hell to drive. Really beginning to debate whether I want to mess with it too much tbh. I may just ECMLink it, E85 convert it, put the 14B at 21lbs, and just leave it alone. Freakin' love having a DSM again.

Original paint? Thing looks immaculate for a dsm of that age. Nice car, my friend

Worked on cleaning up and painting engine bay. Still a lot more work. Plan to delete evap.(any advice on how to delete evap is welcomed.)
Sand blasted with low pressure my rusty coolant hard pipes. Flushed out the heatercore with cascade followed up with peak radiator flush to clean up after head gasket failure.plasti gauged my mains with the "new" crank.

Made a thing. Since I only have argon, figured I'd practice with my spool gun, made an alternator heat shield. Gonna add a duct to the fog light hole so it gets fresh air, see how long I can make this stock alt last!

Painted the BOV today. I didn't spend hours in prep/smoothing, I just minor prepped and sprayed, and I think it turned out AMAZING for the little prep work I did. I'm gonna do the valvecover next in the same red that's on top, but with the VC will go a ton more prep work.

Been tracking down a misfire on cylinder 1 for a few weeks now. New plugs new cables and tested coilpack and transistor. Installed a known working ecu. Still misfiring. Checked the plugs and cylinder 1 plug was black (oil blowby). Removed the valve cover and a rocker was misaligned. Realigned it and she is running smooth now. I feel proud of myself LOL

I have seen this on alot of sites with mustangs, hondas, volkswagen, ect... Although I've never seen one with DSM's and i thought maybe i would try it out and see if it sticks... I'll start off with what i did to mine. I cleaned up the motor bay and did a little wire tucking.
Found oil leak

I got my hard piping kit for a stock side mount and was SOOO disappointed that it wasn't as pictured and, in fact, might not even be for a DSM.... booo hooo.
Got a return label from Amazon. Dam.

I wanted to comment on the ketchup packets too ROFL.

Took front seats out!

Grabbed 20L of fresh fuel.

Almost ready to start tuning. 94 should be overkill at this altitude.

I went shopping at the local junkyard. . Black front leather seats. No rips! Picked up a few little other odds and ends as well like a set of 2gb mudflaps, the black leather inserts on the door panels and the little air vents that always crack.
