Installed Volk LCA's (Rear Sway Bar option) and then dialed in a 4 wheel alignment....

Pulled my dejon tool smic and piping, hacked a bunch of crunched metal from the passenger wheel well, and started mocking up my new intercooler setup. Did new (proper) rear brakes the other day, only to find out my parking brake is frozen.

They were real popular in the early 2000s. Z3 style fenders...came with the shell when I got it don't care enough to change them.

My profile car is in rebuild mode finally instead of sitting under a tree. Bigger things in store....

What I did to my DSM today. I painted the underside of the hood and wet sanded and cleaned with solvents. Tomorrow will tack cloth it and another coat or 2 of paint. I'm slowly working on getting a smooth paint job.

Did some more fitting on the new intercooler setup, stared at it alot trying to work out routing, got a pretty good tank design made now.

Just waiting on some fittings and time to finish it all up, need to weld up the tank, mount the heat exchanger and make a pump mount. After that just some couplers and a gm maf cable to start retuning with, then speed density and a bigger turbo.

Prolly blow the motor up in there somewhere...

Sanded and cleared my bumper today. Here is a close up of the bumper/hood. The hood isn't latched. Also cleared the bottom side of the hood and reinstalled it. I'm working on a high contrast/ unique engine bay. I'm sure it won't be everyones cup of tea.

Got my 3year old, new in box, MXT-L hooked up and working finally. Took two attempts at calibration and advice from Dustin at Innovate to get it going. I am not a mechanical genius.

Working on the paint again. I'm am sure you all can tell the most recently completed parts(minus polishing/cutting). I am becoming impressed with my painting skills. Not pro status but improving none the less. My biggest thing was I wasn't reducing to the correct ratio(usally not enough) which made for a very rough finish. Which required lots of wet sanding and more coats to get smooth.amazing the difference it made to take the extra minute to be sure its thin enough and to tweak the gun on some cardboard

Reinstalled exhaust/heat shields, and started installing all the intercooler piping. Almost ready for a boost leak test.

Wired up a slim line driver's side fan. Made custom brackets that are SOLID. jumpered the relay coil so both fans come on. Now, 95* ambient temps, with AC on she won't go above 206. I was running just one fan and it was fine..........until the summer heat hit. It hit my CEL trigger of 228*. That's not near enough to warp a head, but it IS way too hot. I haven't tested on the highway yet. Without ac, the max temp it would reach is now 213. I'm beyond pleased with this. Only took a few hours and Bessie is happy again
