Clay-bar'd my windshield. Since the previous owner had this car under a tree for 2 years, the windshield had baked on grime, sap, and other unknown things. I could see through it, but the visibility wasn't the greatest. A few weeks back I saw a video on youtube about using clay bar to restore windshield glass and decided to try it. It did wonders. The glass is almost as good as new. Did find out there's a few tiny dings in it, that knowing my luck, will probably crack over this winter and will need new glass in the Spring. But until that happens, I'm satisfied with the result. Was my first time using clay bar too. Since it worked so well on the windshield, I may just do my sunroof and rear glass as well.
I'd like to see your work when you post it. I'm doing the same with my eclipse.Still working on wire brushing wheel wells and undercarriage. Painted top hats and bolts/ nuts and washers. Wire brushed more on brakes and wheel wells then washed out the wheel wells with the hose.
You read that correctly, I wire brushed and cleaned the bolts then hit them with a wire wheel on a dremel then painted them threads and all. I figure it will bullet proof them some from rust. The threads will be fine maybe need to put some more elbow grease when tightening them. I will likely also use anti seize liberally on most of the suspension bolts. My car wasn't really even bad just a bit of surface rust here and there, but I really don't want to see any rust anywhere. Its not going to be a show car, but its going to be nice enough for me. I'm working on some video for youtube on some of what I've been working on.

ordered link v3 from the site, I have a feeling it will be a while before I get around to playing with it. well that and research, bit of research. Should I just pop it in the ecu and go or should I get a afr gauge installed first?
I appreciate the offer but it took all of 20s a lug, that cap on the end is just plastic so the saw makes quick work of it, then I just grind it down smooth. What open ended Mitsu lugs do you have?Jeeze Corey I would of just traded you my open mitsu lugs for those ones. I've been spending the last week doing the holset swap, found a crack in my FP manifold so I welded that up last night and just trying to get it ready for spring since it's currently a balmy 30 degrees
Thats where I come in . Hit me up if you need a upgraded dsm flange manifoldThey came factory on my 92 gsx since it had the sawblade style wheels that used full center caps that hid the lugnuts.
Where mine was cracked you'd be able to see clear as day
I run a turbo blanket so I don't get to look at my manifold much.. found out that FP is no longer warrantying them though (I thought it was lifetime.. now it's one year from purchase date)
