Lets start the list here...
Valve cover swapped with new gasket says mitsubishi instead of 2000 :D old one was cracked.
Crank case breather filter instead of line to the intake.
Rewired/rerouted gauges and put into triple pillar pod (aem wideband, boost gauge, oil pressure gauge)
Got all the broken manifold studs out (2)
new manifold gasket, and cleaned up the head/front of the block.
Yokohoma 235/40/18's mounted and balanced.
ordering a tubular o2 housing tomorrow! and hopefully re-routing part of the fmic piping.

Ordered new carpet, shifter kit, and set up a time to go get a new valve cover and bypass valve. Super excited to not have to make a phwoosh sound every time I shift!

After work I will be replacing the trans/t-case fluids in the dsm i just purchased and got running. Next I will be changing the oil, then taking a drive to the dsm/evo meet at a restaurant tonight so that I can break bread with my DSM brethren.

Drove very hard on the on ramp to the highway to work. Had to build some excitement up early in the mourning. It made me smile:D

I wish I had an on ramp in order to go to work.. I have to stand on the accelerator to get a clean entry on a bridge that crosses a water shed. It starts at two lanes at the light, and converges to one lane about 20 feet into the bridge. Lots of angst and pettiness of people not wanting others to get in front of them, even if they are supposed to allow for merging traffic.
It is my daily adrenaline fix along with my greater appreciation for my 2G even if she is only a 420A.:hellyeah:

420A huh? Just step on the gas and wit for the turbo to kick in, then you'll pass 'em all! I promise, the turbo will kick in sometime around neveRPM

You know you just created a vacuum leak through your PCV system, right? Think about how that works....

Swapped some motor mounts around to make way for the auto, setup the torque converter to drain over night, installed a set of urethane front sway bar bushings, and fiddled with my 2GB Talon fogs and PR FMIC to figure out what it'll take to get all 3 mounted cleanly.

I pet her, and kissed her, and told her that it is all going to be okay. One day we will take away all of the nasty dings, dents, scrapes, and boo boos, and maker her pretty all over again. Then I cried as I walked to the train and left her in the parkinglot, where mean people do nasty things to her while I am away.
Evil door dingers need to be drawn, quartered, tarred, feathered, and burried alive.

I think I remember you from a video that was floating around on here a year or two ago. :hmm:

ROFLKOPTER,,, no, not me, but I will gladly own up to it, since it sounds like it fits me to a "T" at the moment.

If you find the vid, please post link, I would so enjoy watching it.

WOW... THATS EFFIN" MESSUD UP> STRAIGHT OFF DA HOOK...YO!!!

Its okay to love your DSM... Its NOT okay too LOVE yer DSM...
okay fine, I am in denial.. If I wasn't happily married I would have an affair with my red head, "Miss Bitchy" Although I had my car before my wife. She understands I care for my Red Head 4 wheel girl.

I tried my hand at soda blasting today. I'm not sure people really mean by "soda", but I filled a mug full of good ol' Arm & Hammer and went to town. The sand blaster is just a cheap siphon feed POS, so I figured why not. But the results so far are much better than I expected!

Untouched portion of the grainy old H1E cover (you can see where I tried sanding and gave up)

So when it's not 20* in the shop, I'm going to continue blasting this thing.

95 TSi: removed more of the interior and stripped it of it's wiring harness, auto shifter and one of the cables.

98 Spyder: Got the AWD auto trans loosely bolted to the engine and all of the mounts started. I'm hoping to install the rest of the front end AWD components. The back end is already completed.
