What could a 91 GS turbo beat stock?

Exactly that question...what could i beat stock? a newbie question from a non-newbie...and what is the original 0-60/ quartermile times?

These times are for the Eclipse GST, times for a stock GSX would be slightly slower because it is heavier.
0-60 in 6.8 seconds
1/4 mile in 15.2 seconds @ 91.5 mph.

Actually, theyre about the same. You think because a GSX is heavier its slower? have you forgotten that its AWD? The theory is that the AWD wins off the line, but the FWD catches up and runs the same time in the end.

As for what car you can beat stock..eh..a bunch of non turbo cars? average ricers? do cheap free mods and see what you can do.

Actually, the GSX is quicker than the GST, assuming its a 5spd. You right about the GST times.

0-60..........6.3
1/4 mile.....14.7@92

Ive actually seen them do 14.60's with a good 6000 clutch dump

Hmm.... I don't think your really going to go anywhere dumping the clutch at 6k. Try it, I bet you'd bog to hell haha

I have tried it, and i never once bogged. Obviously you havent done it. You trying to tell me what i saw with my own eyes wasnt real?

my car was slow as piss when i got it, id laugh at it if i drove it stock now.. it amazes me everytime i think about how incredibly detuned these cars came from the factory.. all of the basic mods arent even real mods imo.. just stuff that should have come as stock- though it DOES make for a huge grin everytime i do something and the car comes out faster thats the coolest feeling in the world- ordering a part, waiting for it to come in, waiting all day at work to get home and install it.. and then you go out for that first drive and the car is better than ever before.. i heart my dsm
