stock gs turbo?

a kid i work with has a fwd 5 speed gs...stock 2.0 turbo. ive never heard of it before, i thought all fwd turbo eclipses were gst, its not rare is it?

Some of the 1G GS's had turbo's. I wouldn't say it's rare.

only one i've heard of is the laser RS turbo

The GS-T badging did not come about until 1995. The first generation Eclipse FWD turbo cars on the back bumper were badged Eclipse GS with 16v dohc turbo written in smaller lettering underneath. Or something along those lines.
