I am a little confused here. the 3000gt are listed to have two turbos one for the left or rear and one for the right or front is there any difference? if so witch one do i need to put on my talon?

Not sure I understand the question. Are you trying to put a stock 3000gt turbo on your car? If so...my next question would be why

Tell me your goal and maybe I can help you out.

Is this really happening?

No, a stock 3kgt turbo (which isn't even a 20g) WILL NOT bolt up to your Talon.

This picture should be able to tell you why.

ok i was told they did. i used to be into hondas ( yes i know dont laugh ). did a 20g come stock on anything?

What exactly is it that you are trying to accomplish? Finding a bigger turbo for cheap?

From your profile I would say you are not even close to ready for a bigger turbo, unless you haven't thoroughly filled it out. Stock fuel system, no A/F monitoring or logger (how are you tuning with that SAFC anyway?) and "stage two cams" has me worried.

i havent updated my profile yet. but i have a bunch of new parts fuel, computer ect, just wanting a cheap bigger turbo to start playing with the car at the track untill i get the other set up completed ( it prob will not be done this season i have a drift car that will be done first)

i have pushed it to 15psi i would rather have something that puts out a little more cfms is why i want bigger.
How do the cxracing 20g turbos hold up and no i am not looking for something that is going to last for ever just a cheap upgrade for the time being. also the car does not get driven on the road at all so just something to play with at the track.

Your guess is as good as anyone elses. Its a game of luck with those turbos. Some guys have run them with no problems, others have cranked the boost and it blows up within the first week. To me it doesn't matter if it is a track car or a street car. I would focus on reliability. Power is only as high as its reliability. To explain, why make power if you can't count on it being there the next time you mash the skinny pedal? Just save your money and if your looking for a little more pull, just buy a cheap B16G. Would be an easy bolt on and can be found cheap!

If you want a 20g I have a genuine MHI 20g with less than 500 miles on it. PM me if you are interested.

Do you have a front mount? Almost looks like it in your profile.

Boy thats some serious light use of the word "push" when youre talking about raising the boost 4 psi...when youre running 22psi with no boost fall off then start talking about pushing it.

Or like the guy at the top of the list, you start running 10's, thats pushing it...

They are a 9B compressor, and not a TD05H.. so while you can use nearly anything in terms of turbos you want if you put down the money, a 3kgt turbo will not bolt up nor can I think of anyone who makes a TD04(L?) 3 bolt manifold.

And why would you want to use a turbo that is barely capable of feeding the 1.5L its working with on one bank of a 6G72?

I thought they were 13B's?
A 13B is a rotary engine commonly found in Mazda RX7's.

There are 13G and 13T Mitsubishi compressor wheels; neither of which came stock on a 3000GT.

You make my mornings sometimes whether you mean to make people laugh or not. I guess after so long some of the things you hear or people say just eat you enough.

But to the OP, I would certainly look into a e316g. They spool great and hold boost pretty well. For the price commonly found on them used is a great deal.
And they is practically nothing you have to change to swap it on, but the supporting mods needed to run high boost levels.
