were to weld my wideband bung?

It depends on the sensor and the manufacturers suggestions. I am personally running mine right after the flex section and at a 10* angle so that condensation can drain out of the O2 sensor.
 
I have heard that the best is after the o2 dump on the downpipe BEFORE the flex pipe area. Some get away with using the stock 02 housing area but i have heard it gets way to hot right there and ruins the life of the sensor and accuracy.

AEM recommended 36" form turbo outlet. I thought that was a bit much so I went right after the flex section. When it comes to running the wideband in a spot other than the front O2, it's a matter of prefferance, opinion, and intended use.

Wait, so is the front o2 sensor spot an okay place for it? Did i read the wrong information on dsmtuners??
 
innovative recommends a copper heat sink but says its ok to run in the front o2 spot. i got good readings there. going to build a heatsink when i reinstall it though. itll last longer i think
 
My AEM uego wideband o2 sensor is approximately 10 inches down from the o2 housing outlet, in the vertical section just before the 90 degree bend. My sensor has died two times, each lasting about 3-4 months before giving messed up readings. I don't have a heat sink but I'll look into that. I wonder if my EGT is abnormally high to cause this? However when the sensor gave accurate readings the engine always ran rich at WOT, in the low 10 to 1 air fuel ratio plus black carbon in the exhaust tip, leading me to believe my egt is normal. I will try the heatsink and if that doesnt work then I'll relocate down the tube a bit.
 
This is good information to know when I do mine! I didn't read all the posts but I think from like 12 o'clock to 3 o'clock on the pipe so condensation or something doesn't get all over the wires or 02 sensor.
