wideband sensor bung bad angle

so I been looking for pictures of peoples wideband bung location before the flex section but nothing, been looking for a while and I been reading threads right and left, some how I got confused and with little time to work on my car I manage to spare time today to weld the bung on the down pipe well I think I welded the bung too horizontal when the instructions say a minimum of 10 degrees , I was confident thinking that it was fine as long as it stays between 12 oclock and 3 oclock (stupid lazy me didn't want to go inside the house to look for the instructions) what do you guys think should I leave it like that or move it here ares some pictures

Should be fine, when on the vertical part of the downpipe it really doesn't matter. Our angles are very similar although mine has to be redone since is sits WAY too close to that oil line

You guys do know it's recommend to run those sensors further back then that don't you? it needs to be at least 40 inches away from the head. Unless my eyes are deceiving me they looks closer the that on both downpipes. But I'd say your angles fine, just hope the heat dosent kill it.

I run mine in place of my front o2 for narrow band simulation

Previous owners skilled work LOL. I'm planning to grind all that crap out and reweld it.

I have mine located just before the flex section its a perfect distance from turbo. I have a copper heatsink ready to be thrown on once I relocate my wideband position to clear that oil line, should help with the heat. But either way majority of people have their setups similar to mine and the OP's
 
I have read that you have to install the sensor before the flex section, so this is as far form the turbo that I could go keeping it before the flex section, my concern is the angle of the sensor
 
I currently have mine almost identical to yours. I havent had any issues but its only been about a month. I was worried about the angle somewhat but I had mine previously right off the turbo in the factory o2 sensor location for 3 years issue free. I dont have any intentions of changing mine from its current location untill I have a reason too.

Ill be dammed, well that's pretty cool. I was only bringing that up because Bosch recommends they be placed that far back in order to last the 100k mile life span that they claim they to. Not to say it wouldent work if it's too close, it's just a durability issue with a wideband sensor vs. a narrow
