I think i have a bad cam angle sensor but i dont know how to check it. I dont want to buy a new one right away unless it's bad because i'm guessing there kind of expensive. If you have any ways to check these that would be great.

already read them with a scan tool and we werent paying any attetion and deleted them so we dont know but we think one of them said cam angle sensor. That's why i'm looking for a way to check it.

I would think it's similar to that of the 420A, but don't quote me on it. On the 420A, you can back probe the sensor with a multimeter. Set it to read VDC and probe the signal and ground lines. You should see an alternating 0-5VDC while cranking/running that's easy to see, as the cams turn at 1/2 crank speed. Like I said, I'm only speaking from experience with the 420A, which uses a magnetic sensor. so this could be wrong.

Can't believe I was able to put that all together after as much as I've had to drink in the last couple hours. Hope it helps some. :thumb:
