AEM wideband 02 (Where to put 02 bung?)

I have a 1g talon with a megan racing 3in turbo back exhaust. (coming from stock 02 housing) I read the instructions and know that i need to install it 32in from the turbo to prevent it from overheating. I was wondering if anyone has found a "Prefferred" installation point.

I just went threw this one man. Make sure you put you Wb02 bung in front of the flex section!! I had it in front of test pipe after before and my reading were all over the place especially at idle.
I mounted my Uego about 18 inch from turbo and it reads great, I was also able to get ecmlink to read perfectly using the aemwb02r1 setting at that position.

The closer to the turbo, the faster sensor can react. I put mine in the stock location (o2 housing) on both my cars; a lot of people are putting it there without any issues.

I put mine about 7 inches from the o2 housing right on the bend in the DP because my flex section is right under the oil pan. It seemed to be the only place I could find room and still be before the flex. They say 36" or farther, but with the amount of ppl running widebands in their stock front sensor location I feel pretty confident itll be fine there. And hey IF i need to replace the sensor every year... big deal. $60 a year is a LOT cheaper then even keeping up with oil changes and id rather have the o2 output faster and keep it before any problem sections (flex pipe)

in front of the flex pipe is def the better place, had it after and it was just a lazy reading
