I just got done rebuilding my motor. I got it in the car and tried to prime the oil pump.. well I used my drill to spin the oil pump. When I did I eventually made the drill drag down but no oil coming out of the head. I took off one of the oil cooler lines and have oil coming out. And I noticed oil coming out of both lines when I spun the pump. I have ran the head and front case on the car before... Please help

That oil passage should be draining into the oil pan, stick a long screw driver to unclog it.

Did you blow some air into the oil galleys of the block and head (remove the regulator on top) before assembly?

Did you pack the pump with grease or some else? I've always known not to do that, because grease's melting temp could be 450 degrees and above, in two words - it will never melt and will clog the galleys.

First pick another HG, that looks to be the one from "Evergreen" gaskets.

Grab a fel-pro 9627 PT

Also find out why that oil drain is clogged.

Next pull the front case off.

Now with a rubber tip blower nozzle, blow compressed air down the vert oil feed.
Hold a rag in front of the main oil galley, and see if any thing comes out.

Circled in red is the vert oil galley.

Humm DSMGraveyard you say?

Go to the top of the page, Click on the "Marketplace" tab

Scroll down to "DSM Vendor reviews"

Find DSMgraveyard

Read reviews.

Next search the form for DSMGraveyard.

Yeah, I'd cancel the transaction and get a HG from another vendor - JNZ, ExtremePSI, rock auto, STM

Damn those are some bad reviews.. ill be canceling my order with them a.s.a.p. ..

Im not not to fond of extreme psi. I ordered my ross racing pistons from them it took them 2 months to ship them. When the site said they had the pistons in stock

Finally got the head back in the car.. the head stud hole being to small was the issue not letting oil get to the head... thank you everyone for the help..
