no oil pressure forgot to prime pump

i think i forgot to prime the oil pump on my 420a. how is the best way to push oil threw it and crank for a sec with no fuel or spark to build pressure?(i already let it run for about 1 min to see if i get pressure)

The way we did it on this ford ranger was to just stick screw drivers in the end of each spark plug wire and unplug them.

Then crank it over a few times.
 
i was going to tell you that IF you lubed everything up during rebuild, then i would crank it for like 30 seconds. but you let it crank for 1 minute, then i'd say not to crank anymore. think anout it a minute is not long, but if you sit here and count for one full minute, thats alot of crank time on them bearings. i'd get some more professinal advice
