while waiting on my 6 bolt to be built a the machine shop i ordered a JDM 4g63 but i used a head that i had just had rebuilt..well yesterday i was looking at the JDM head and noticed a few things "unique" and or odd about it..
first off the ports look like they were worked over.. nice smooth transitions and large openings on teh intake side..the exhaust you can tell was ported for velocity, but the weird part is that on the side of it where the casting for identification is was marked 1.6T where teh normal 4g63 is marked 2.0
i haven't compared the chaber sizes or anything, but does any one have any info on this head? pros, cons... cam shaft specs? it'd be nice if it were an upgrade of sorts ( at least in the realm of swapping stock parts around, like how 1g cams are better than 2g cams )
input, thoughts? all is apreciated
