Got a dash light that came on and it looks sort of like a radiator. Is it trying to tell me that my radiator is low on water?

I just replaced the water pump. The overflow and the radiator are currently full so I'm not quite sure what the light is trying to tell me. If you know I'd appreciate the info. Thanks.

I was waiting for somebody to post the picture of all the different things that symbol "ISN'T"

It's a picture of a radiator. Double check your overflow tank, esp since you just changed the water pump. The sensor is in the bottom of it. It means low on coolant. ROFL

That's your birdcage light. It could mean one of many things are wrong with the car. It comes on anytime the bird that chirps between shifts has issues. He could be hungry, the cage door could've opened and he escaped, or worse he died. Pop the hood and check your birdcage, it's right below the intake manifold. ROFL

well at least there is some humor on this site

Thanks for the replies (and the laughs). It appears that symbol is the radiator symbol and is probably on cause I have an airbubble in the system as a result of the new waterpump. Also, I've had a full overflow get emptied back into the radiator system when the engine cools down. I'll have to double check the overflow level tonight. Thanks again. :)

Just an update. I put another half gallon of water in the radiator and completely filled the overflow and the light went out. Thanks for the help.
