Ya, I'm confused too. Most O2 Sensors have the same threads, it's the connectors that are different. However Mitsubishi never designed the car for widebands so they don't have a part number for 1g DSM WB O2 sensors. What exactly are you looking to achieve.
I guess you just cleeared things up for me. Basically any wideband 02 can work?
Narrow band gauges can act as a warning, but nothing more.Yes, you can get any wideband sensor you want, but are you also going to get something to read it with?
It's a good thing you're looking to get a wideband over an A/F light show gauge, but do you really know enough to have a need to get one? No offense, but from asking what the stock wideband part number is, it sounds like you're a bit unsure about it. Yes, you can read all the time on here people asking what gauges to get or what inputs to get for DSMlink (this was why I asked if you're getting something to read it with), but if you don't know what it is or how to interpret it and use it, it'll be a waste of money.

I thought you have a logger? WB O2 is mostly for WOT tuning.......mostly.Well my narrowband is on the 2nd to last "green light" indicating wayyyyyyyyy rich (no i'm not drving the car). All this happend from my s-afc reseting so now I need a wideband to retune with.

He did call me and I told him which pins on the diagnostic plug you're suppose to connect the cable to, from reading your posts the last few weeks, I thought you got it going. Which pins did you connect the cable to?No the one day I tried to hook it up, Tom was helping me, he said that he'd call you and call me back. He never called me back though..I never got it to work.
IMO, waste of money. You will still need to get your logger working afterwards to properly monitor the system. Tuning isn't an oven where you can set it and forget it, thing will always change from time to time. Not to mentioned all you will get, most likely, will be rough aggressive WOT tunes, your car will most likely still run like shit during idle and part throttle. Focus on getting your logger working, use the dyno tune money for nice WB setup (I have an extra LM1) and I will help you tune.then i'll head down to Turbotrix or something and get it dyno-tuned..

The red wire goes on pin #1 and the other two goes on 10 and 12. #1 is the first pin on the left column and 10 and 12 are the last and second to last pin on the right column. If I remember correctly it was the 1, 10, and 12 port? I had the diagram, all I know is that I followed the instructions (even soldered the wires), and the palm was unable to establish a connection. What can this be?
What the hell is the JAW kit?I already ordered that cheap JAW kit. Just to get an idea of where i'm standing. Atleast I'll be able to drive the car down and we can look into it more deeply.
