Water pump?

So his is the second time his happened but first was 2 weeks ago.

Well today I am on my way to school and it is running a litle hot, well it kept climbing and when I shut it off some coolant started to dribble from in the water pump area. Cant tell you exactly were I was observing from a distance. But it only let out bout 2 cups or so of coolant. Not sure why I over heated but it threw a code so I am goin to check that and coolant levels in a bit. Is this a sign of coolant pump going out? no noises ran fine before. The time before was only a little half dallor size puddle.

Tried refilling it and it just pissed all over. It is coming from behind the pump pulley.
