Water Pump From Hell...

took me about 6 hours yesterday to replace my water pump... STILL not done, had to take the timing belt tensioner off so that is not being the thorn in my side... days like yesterday make me so pissed because ive put all this time money and effort into this car, but it doesnt even wanna help itself... i know thats the joy of any car i own, but at some point im hoping SOMETHING will go right for me... and to make things work the car still wont fire, didnt even get a chance to look into that problem yet.... sheesh =/

Yeah water pump jobs suck on these cars. That's why whenever someone is doing a timing job it is recommended that they replace the water pump as well. Hang in there, you'll get it. Just make sure you time the engine correctly when you finish the water pump.

yeah ive read up on it... make sure engine is TDC then set the timing makrs on the cams a bit lower than the "level" position, set the oil pump marks up and then get the blade on the crank pully to line up with the little timing line
