What are the pros and cons? I'm ordering 4 AEM coils and just received my trigger disk and am undecided on which direction to go. On one hand I understand that Direct Fire gives the coils more time to charge but on the other hand I hear Wasted Spark will burn and exhaust left over vapors on the exhaust stroke which leaves more room for air and fuel when the intake valves open. This is my street legal weekend warrior.

Anyways, unless there's something wrong with your stock ignition system, I wouldn't worry too much about it. Healthy stock ignition systems have been proven time and time again to work well with well over 400whp...
