Gday,
I have a 1989 Galant, with a 4G63 SOHC.
This engine has a distributor, which may need replacing due to wear.
I have a coil pack on hand, from a 4 cylinder hyundai excel.
I would like to replace the distributor with wasted spark ignition, using the above coil pack.
How hard is it to fit the appropriate sensors to the engine? Can the stock ECU drive this set up? The ECU currently drives the single coil, but does not seem to have enough wires to drive a dual coil set up.
Thank you for your assistance.
Cheers,
Alan.
