warning fake hks bov

I knew something wasnt right about those black HKS bovs. I seen them on end on ebay for like $100 and something didnt add up. Lucky thing I didnt buy one. I would rather buy a brand new official HKS bov from some place like extremepsi.com. What are you gonna do with it? Install it or sell it?

They work almost exactly as the regular ones, so at least you wont suffer performance.

And that's coming from me who's a brand name whore and thinks negatively of ebay WGs/BOVs. At the end of the day, if it works, it works. And if you didn't say anything no one else would know you had a fake BOV either. Sad thing is is that is what you have to deal with when on Ebay. Chances are, if its on Ebay and way too cheap, its fake.

i installed like 3 weeks ago but im not sure if it is working right because if i go wot from first trough 3rd it hold 20 psi all they long but if i make a pull from 3rd to redline only 10psi, but im not sure if a have a leak on a different place

I've had a shitty 30$ HKS knock off for 2 years now across 2 vehicles...still works like the day I got it, doesn't leak either.

I saw that a while back one of my boys was telling me to get it, I decided to go to a local shop here and got the V3 and recently also seen they are making fake ones of this one too..

I don't know how you would expect to get the real deal for 100 bucks. Clearly, it would be a knockoff, but who cares? They work excellently.
