greddy bov fake sound question

i bought the knock off greddy bov and everytime i shift it sounds like my car ate a bird. is this what it is suppose to sound like?

The Knock offs ( type s ) are supposed to be a solid piece accept for the fact that the diaphram weakens quickly.

You need to first loosen or I believe its "softer" on the BOV..the adjustment screw. only go alittle at a time untill you get a solid sound....no fluttering.

i tried that all last night. plus the air does not come out of the recurclatior tube it comes out of my air filter, if i take the tube off you can not feel any air through the bov when you let off the gas!

ALright, was it used or new ? reason im asking is because like I said before the diaphram could be ripped and thats why someone got rid of it...

I just got another SSQV in the mail and took it apart turns out its an HKS body with a knock off rear cover/washer and adjustment screw. no big deal though I fixed it.

anyway just read those 2 threads.
