i installed a greddy type s on my car a few months ago...i just recently got it to stop fluttering but it sill doesnt have the gredy high pitched noise that ive heard on every other appication on a car, so far the BOV just makes just a staiit whoosh noise...ive asked around and someone mentioned they fixed it using the ssm mod to the blow off valve...what is ithe ssm mod and what do i have to do to get it to make the traditional greddy sound? :dsm:

I did the SSM on my Type-S and it whistles with no flutter. That link will show you how - you just line up one of those holes inside with the small nipple and you'll get that unique sound.

I had a similar problem with the flutter and whoosh instead of the high-pitched blow-off. I found out I had my hose hooked up wrong. It works good now, so you may wanna check where your hose is hooked into.

im pretty sure i have the hose hooked up right but iver been trying so many damn adjustments without getting what i wanted with this BOV....
