yesterday I got the upper Intercooler piping and a suppose to be greddy rs BOV. I installed it all ( after I painted it and the valve cover) and the problem with the stuttering is even worse. That dang suppose to be greddy is leeking more air then I'm boosting. Ok I'm exaggerating a little bit but that BOV is leaking air like crazy. I started the car up and I was testing the pipes and BOV. I didn't have it vented yet, and the BOV was letting out air from the outlet. When I got the pipes and BOV, the BOV didn't have the recirculating adapter and had some kind of rubber fitting in the outlet. I don't know if its suppose to be there but it fits in there. And if I leave that thing in there it doesn't leak but then no air comes out at all. So I take it out and recirculate it the best I can with out the adapter. While driving in first gear it will let me go to 12lbs but then stop real fast and not let me go at all. In second through fifth it lets me get to 12lns but then decreases pound by pound. I'm not sure if I might be leaking air from the gasket. I couldn't find one so I went to autozone and purchased the gasket paper roll and made my own. Has anyone done that and has it worked for them? How would I fix the BOV without buying a new one? I never taken it apart but I think it might be the spring? Or maybe the diaphram? I know it's not a real greddy because it doesn't even say it on there. But when looking at the fakes it doesn't even look like that either. I don't know what it is just know I was told it was that and got the uicp and BOV for $30. Anyone got advice on what I could/should do to fix the BOV?
Also I don't have another BOV to fit the dejon uicp so I was thinking of leaving the pipe from the TB and just putting the stock pipe from the IC to the hard pipe from the TB. Does anyone know if that would work I know it's a newbie question but i really am stuck between a rock and a hard place.

Will upload pics in the AM

A 1g bov should be able to work and are fairly cheap. I'd look for o e of the 1g and ditch the greddy. As for gasket and stuff, I don't even use a gasket, just grey rtv and it has help up fine for me. I'm running 20psi on a 16g.

Eligst21: thanks for the tip. Would the 1g bolt on to the dejon uicp that comes with the greddy fitting? I looked around my area for any BOV that would bolt on and can't seem to find one. As of right now I put the stock pipe from the Intercooler back on and kept on the hard pipe coming from the throttle body. I just really want to be able to put all the piping on.

I took the BOV apart and the diaphram doesn't look bad. Just where one of the star screws go in, it it a little torn but not enough for it to be leaking air the way it was. There were two springs on the inside and I took out the small one and left the big one. I put it all back together and it seems fine, but when I first got it, it seemed that way as well. What I'm thinking is that the air flow going through the pipes is pushing the bottom of the BOV up and letting air out through the outlet. When I installed it the day I got it, air was coming out of the outlet after I took out that rubber plug. When. I out that plug back in it stopped. So I recirculated it the best I could and drove to the store and home. On the drive it leaked again really bad. I checked it when I got home and that rubber thing blew out and thank god it didn't make it to the turbo. It got stuck in the recirc tube. It also makes a whistle noise after it real else air after I shift. Has this happened to anyone and does anyone have any ideas on how I could fix this.

Or could I get or make an adapter so I could just use my blitz BOV? Any ideas is much appreciated. Thank you all ahead of time.
