Hey folks, back with another question concerning my porsche and an HX35. The stock twin scroll holset hotside will not fit my car unless I punch a hole in the block, and no shop around here will machine a garrett hotside to fit a holset. I'm going to need to get a hold of a BEP housing for an HX35 turbine. I understand these are available in both .55 and .70 A/R, is that right? Most sites I see selling these hotsides dont specify or give me any options, so which am I getting? Also, are all the T3 inlet hotsides specced with a 3" Vband outlet, or can they be had with a standard 4 bolt t3 outlet (3" preferably)? I'm all down for Vband since I'll be fabbing new up and down pipes, but I'm afraid I'll have trouble finding the right flange and vband clamp for a true 3" downpipe (which is absolutely required, I'm expecting well over 500 rwhp from a fully built 3 liter DOHC road race engine). I'm also thinking long term, if I later decide I want to run something that isnt a holset, I'd like to not have to buy another hotside or fab new exhaust, especially when garret and BW vBand hotsides seem to usually be for 2.5" Vbands, and most hotsides I see that are 3" are 4 bolt outlet. What should I do, you guys here have way more experience with the holset stuff than any Porsche owner.
