Ebay hotsides

Got a pretty good condition small 16g but no hotside for one of my cars that needs a new turbo.Was just thinking of getting a ebay 16g hotside does it matter really?I saw some on there for like $80, should I just swoop it up and install it?I know I may have to mess with the wastegate to fit it on but besides that I shoulnd't have a issue.

It would fit the CHRA fine, but hopefully you don't get an unusable blem like we did.

why not just get a 14b housing for time bean and port the hell out of it? with ebay its a gamble. check here on the listings i see a couple everyonce in a while.

Can a t28 utilize a larger hotside? The compressor housing is a .60 ar with a 48.5 compressor hoising.

Ill have to do more looking this post is more towards a 16g swap and whats needed. I dont see anything related to a t28 and the diferent hotsides used.

I got an eBay 7cm hotside and it fit fine and flows good. The only difference was the peg where the wastegate arm attaches was larger, so I just drilled a bigger hole in the end of the wastegate rod and it fit.

How long ago did you get the housing? Who was the seller?

I got it about 2 years ago, sorry I forget who the seller was, but it looks just like this one;

EDIT Deleted eBay link until we find out if this part is legit.

Read post #2....We got screwed on this hotside..I sent mine back but did not recieve my money back yet..And they were supposed to not sell the rest of them they had cause they were all wrong..


I'm going to re order the hotside when they get the new ones in but If it's wrong again I'm gonna be even more pissed..

I will file a claim if they do not refund very very soon and don't get email saying they recieved the part back..

USPS says it was delivered..But nothing back from seller..Still have emails from seller, if I do have to file a claim..

I normally give sellers about three or four days to refund my money or contact me otherwise once I've shipped an item back and tracking has stated it as being received by the seller before I file a claim. There's no need for them to use any more time than that unless they're just jacking you off on purpose.
